What should I bring?
     -Ohio fishing license
     -sunglasses, hat, jacket, rain gear
     -white soft sole shoes only, no black soles
     -food and beverages (one cooler per party, please)
     -please, no bottles or hard liquor beer is okay
     -camera
     -motion sickness medication
     -cooler to take your fish home (leave in car)

Where can I get a license and how much are they?
      New Ohio fishing license are required by March 1st.

  • Resident season license are $19
  • Non-resident season license $40
  • One day license(res. or non res.) $11
  • Three day non-resident license $19
  • Senior Anglers 66 an over born on or after Jan.1, 1938 can get a license for $10, while anglers 15 and under do not need a license. You can purchase your license from various bait and tackle shops near the marina. You may purchase your license over the internet at www.ohiodnr.com/wildlife Look for the license sale link.

Can I bring my own rods or tackle?
      By all means. Many people prefer their own rods and reels, but if you do not I can       provide them for you at no extra cost. I will have all the tackle that you will need. If you       do decide to bring your own, please limit yourself to one tackle box per party.

Can I cancel if I feel the weather is too bad?
      Cancellation due to weather is solely at the Captain's discretion. If this does occur       another date will be offered or your full deposit will be refunded. Any cancellation 14       days in advance will receive a full refund.
